LOS LABORATORIOS HLS (HUNTINGDON LIFE SCIENCES) QUEDAN EXPUESTOS CON CAMARA OCULTA
En los ultimos años los laboratorios HSL han sido observados y denunciados repetidas veces por periodistas, defensores de los derechos de los animales y personas. Ademas, varias empresas que crian animales condenados a morir en HLS han sido expuestos a la luz publica, al igual que los clientes de HLS.
Su crueldad feroz con los animales, fraude, incompetencia y su incumplimiento con las leyes ha sido expuestos a la luz publica totalmente. Trabajadores de HLS han sido grabados con camara oculta dando puñetazos en la cara a animales y falsificando datos de analisis. Han sido grabados manejando sustancias ilegales dentro de la empresa y trabajadores en estado de embriaguez han matado animales por haberlos dejado desatendidos.
2008
Un investigador privado de ADI (Animal Defenders International) trabajo durante un año en la Unidad de primates dentro de HLS, mientras otros dos revelaban con camara oculta el comercio internacional de primates en America del Sur y Asia, donde filmaron espantosas escenas de primates siendo arrebatados del mundo salvaje para los laboratorios de Huntingdon Life Sciences.

2005
Dos ex-trabajadores de HLS quedaron tan horrorizados por su experiencia en el laboratorio que nos contaron la crueldad que allí existe con los animales, los datos falsificados y las condiciones higienicas deplorables. En el mismo año HLS permitió a un equipo de televisión filmar dentro del laboratorio a cachorros sufriendo en experimentos de inhalación.
HLS afirmó que todo esto ha cambiado en los ultimos años. Pese a esta apertura de HLS -los dos ex-trabajadores que operaron en la unidad Beagle dentro de ese lugar de mala suerte- han demostrado que la situacion sigue siendo la misma, con animales tratados salvajemente, ciencia descuidada y datos manipulados.

SHAC filtró experimentos de alto secreto ocurridos dentro de HLS. Beagles y roedores han sido usados en experimentos de inhalación para probar peligrosos gases CFC que habian sido prohibidos hace 15 años.

The largest ever leak of documents from a vivisection laboratory was shown to the Daily Express and published. Soon after an injunction was obtained to prevent the public knowing any more about controversial experiments being carried out on wild caught baboons. In 2003 the injunction was overturned after a two and a half year court battle, and now you can read for yourself was HLS so desperately tried to hide.

SHAC received documents from inside HLS's Suffolk Laboratory revealing drug taking, drunk workers carrying out experiments, as well as a baboon escaping from HLS's Huntingdon site and running across the A1.

Michelle Rokke from PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) released video footage shot undercover inside HLS's lab in the USA. Amongst a catalogue of cruelty, she filmed workers performing a necropsy (an animal equivalent of an autopsy) on a primate while it was still alive.

Zoe Broughton worked undercover inside HLS as part of a Channel Four series, Countryside Undercover. Her investigation showed workers punching beagle puppies in the face and Home Office Inspectors failing to do their job.

Sarah Kite from the BUAV was first to expose HLS for animal cruelty after an eight month investigation. She worked in the rodent toxicology unit and the beagle unit and witnessed beagles being poisoned with pesticides, dental hygiene products, drugs and food wrapping film.

HLS' PRIMATE BREEDER EXPOSED
The BUAV went undercover in Nafovanny, a primate breeder holding 30,000 macaques. They filmed appalling conditions for all the world to see. This farm supplies macaques to Huntingdon Life Sciences and breaches the international guidelines on primate care with which the UK Government is supposed to ensure that they comply.
